It was orientation day at Columbia College Chicago and I was preparing to begin my journey of majoring in musical theater…that is until I switched my major a few hours later to film directing. I had an epiphany that day that while I enjoyed performing, what I was truly passionate about was being the voice behind the camera. Having been a cinephile since my early childhood (thanks to mom and dad) it was clear that was the right path for me. I went on to get my bachelor’s degree in film directing.

With every film I have made since then, I continue to learn more about this evolving circus I am so proud to be a ring leader in. My films have gone on to win several awards at various film festivals around the country including Best Directing and Best Short Film at the Cleveland International Film Festival and praise at the California Women’s International Film Festival. Below you will find some of my visions brought to life.
